Been here quite a few times and I must say the staff is friendly and even when they are busy they still seem to get you and your friends/family/etc seated pretty quickly. We had a table of 4 and we got seated within 20 minutes if not less of checking in and getting our reservation. After we got seated our waitress came by and got our drink orders and we ordered our appetizers, which came out quick. Our main course even came out pretty quick as well, even for as busy as they were. The last few times I have been there I have gotten the crab legs and they have been tasty. Definitely better then a few of the other Red Lobster restaurants I have been too! Definitely should stop in and try this place out.

I went to dinner here with my family Wednesday evening. The restaurant was not busy and we were seated quickly. Somehow the food still took about 40 minutes to arrive. When it did my oder was incorrect. I had requested a full order of Cajun shrimp pasta. The waitress brought me a half order which looked like a child size portion and there was a hair on my plate also. The manager came out and asked if I wanted them to remake it! I said no asked for the check and left. The waitress was nice but you could tell she was new and she was not very knowledgeable about the menu and im disappointed he didn't even offer to comp the appetizers. Never going to this location again.

Three stars for the following: A. Great service and attention to detail. It was little slow around the restaurant but the waitress constantly checked on us and was very knowledgeable on the menu and recommendations. B. Inside the restaurant was clean and majority of the seats are booths. Very accommodating and gives good separation for parties to "feel" isolated...although you may hear some kids cry or two. Nature of the business and understandable. C. The food was very disappointed. Although the menu looked appetizing... the actual food was an eye sore. The food presentation was very rustic... it seemed put together at the last minute and my crab legs were served cold.. one was still thawing as I picked out iced crab meat out of the legs. D. After informing the waitress of the crab leg.. it was promptly taken away and the manager took it off the check with apologies. I may get sick later but it was a very nice gesture. The waitress also offered a free desert as an olive branch to smooth things over. Wasn't her fault so no need for any apologies in my mind. E. Very accommodating to small children. They have a kids menu and your standard coloring crayons with associated paper to mark over. We will probably return later.. but definitely could of been better.

Arrived for my wife's birthday dinner at around 5:15pm and noticed perhaps 10-12 other patrons, so the place was basically dead. Still had to wait 15 mins to be seated then another 15 min to get drinks. Table they seated us at was dirty and had no utensils. Our salads arrived and after a few bites, wife noticed a hair in hers. Biscuits were undercooked, doughy, and not tasty at all. After a brief discussion with management, we decided not to risk it and left. Wife was bitterly disappointed in the restaurant.

This is an okay location. The service is spotty. Sometimes it's very good and sometimes it is "forgetful". The food is consistently cooked and consistently Red Lobster. I enjoy Red Lobster. IT's a reliable chain for seafood. I happen to really dig fried seafood but you can also get broiled and baked items here. My nephew really enjoyed the seafood boil and it was very generous with its scallops, shrimp and other fruits of the sea. We come here several times a year and will continue to do so.

Meh. Not great. Hubby has popcorn shrimp and I had crab linguini. The shrimp was boring- best part was the potato. The linguini was was too rich and salty. This is the second time we've been to this location and won't be back.

Great service but they were not busy at all. Drinks and apps were quick! Food followed shortly after. Waitress and hostess were great. They even talked to the kids about the lobster tank. Kids meal crab was a generous portion. Stuffed tilapia and grilled shrimp entrees were good. Got a side order of crab and that was cooked good. We will be back to this location! Even had dessert, shared 4 ways!

The quality of their food has gone down hill. I always order the ultimate feast with mashed potatoes and a salad. The cost of the plate tonight was 25.99 and it was horrible! The salad only had ice berg lettuce in it and two small tomatoes. The crab was over cooked and way too watery. The mashed potatoes had a brown plastic like top almost like it sat under the heat lamps for 30+ min. For 25.99 I would expect better quality of food. I should of went to Long horns and got a steak! I won't go to red lobster again!

We went there late one Saturday afternoon. The restaurant wasn't that busy at that time. We were seated quickly. The waitress was friendly and quick to get our drink order. All in all she was good and certainly earned her tip. We had clam chowder, house salad, lobster pizza, shrimp, scallops, and lobster tail. The clam chowder was good. The house salad was rather uninspired...iceberg lettuce, one grape tomato, and one ring of onion. The lobster pizza was OK. The shrimp was tasteless and watery, the scallops mushy, and the lobster overcooked. For spending $50 (and we only had water to drink) we were nowhere near getting our money's worth and we made a pact never to go back to Red Lobster. Other than the waitress, the best thing I could say about Red Lobster is that there are no TV's.

First off the staff was good and I can't blame them. We got deep fried shrimp and baked potato. The shrimp tasted like the grease in the fryer had never been changed. It was a smokey burnt taste. The potato tasted and looked like it had been sitting there for quite awhile also. I would rater go to long john silvers.

I know this place doesn't seem like it should get a three star but I loved our waitress. Let me start from the beginning though. Me and my husband went to dinner with my family. When we walked in the door it was a little bit crowded but not too bad so we decided to stay. I went up to the hostess stand and told them how many people were in our party and she let me know it would only be a couple of minutes. I waited probably 5 or 6 before I went back up and asked if she needed my name and she didn't even remember who we were or when we had come up. Ok knock off a point right there becasue 3 other groups had been sat before us I should mention that we were a party of 5 and that all the other groups which had come after us were parties of like 8 or 10. So she said that it would just be a couple of minutes and did not ask for my name again. This was very upsetting because they were getting busy and I was pretty sure she would forget all about us again. So I asked her if she would like my name so that she could put us on the list and she replied with a no and turned away. Again point down. Finally after another 10 minutes or so we were sat. I know it wasn't a long wait but I was really expecting better service. The thing that made this place regain a bunch of points was our waitress remebered us from over 4 months ago!!!! Holy cow that was the turn around point. She took beautiful care of us. She was always there refilling our drinks, right on top of getting our food out fast, she was just amazing. The food was also done very well. Most of my family got the four course dinner. They were all very pleased with their meals. I got the seafood platter. Tasty tasty stuff. The lobster was cooked magnificiently and so was the two different kinds of shrimp. I really enjoyed my meal. This place is not on the top of my list but it is a good spot for seafood in KC. I would make sure that you get there early or insist upon your name being on the list as soon as you are there and not do what I did.

I've been here many times since the week they first opened last year and I've never had a bad experience. Obviously the serving staff loves their jobs and they consistently strive to please. Their seafood is always top notch and served promptly and hot. I had an issue with one Lobsterfest menu item though. The Grilled Maine Lobster and Shrimp dish has a bernaise-type sauce slathered on the shrimp. To me, that defeats the purpose of grilling. It also is messy to eat because the shrimp is tail-on which mandates use of the fingers to eat. I don't order that item anymore, so it's all good. I've eaten seafood at a lot of restaurants in Kansas City, and nobody beats Red Lobster!

My wife and I tried out this Red Lobster on a Tuesday for lunch. It was moderately busy for a weekday with about 10 - 12 tables seated. We were seated right away. A server came by to take or drink orders. He said he wasn't our server, as she was busy, so he was helping out. After getting our drinks our server came over and took our orders. My wife had the sailors platter and I ordered the crab linguini alfredo. The first server brought out our salads and some biscuits. My wife's salad had the wrong dressing, ranch, instead of french. The server apologized and took it back to correct it. He returned with a salad with french dressing very quickly. The salads were pretty standard; the biscuits were hot, fresh, and little bites of heaven. I love the cheddar biscuits at Red Lobster and have never been disappointed by them. Our entrees came out shortly after I finished my salad; the wife was half way through hers. My crab linguini alfredo was very good. Some big chunks of crab with melted parmesan on top. The alfredo sauce was creamy and rich. The sailor's platter my wife ordered looked very good as well. It had fried shrimp, shrimp scampi, and baked fish. For $9.95 this was an awesome deal. She shared a fried shrimp and a shrimp scampi and they were both good. Our server was very nice and kept our glasses full and brought out more biscuits when we finished off the first batch. Except for the mistake with the dressing, which was quickly remedied, the service was excellent. This Red Lobster is definitely worth a try.

We had a party of four and from the moment we walked in, until the moment we left we had great service. Our hostess was going to sit us in a booth and had no problem moving us to a table when we asked. They seemed to have alot of employees there, but every one of them were working and not just milling around or talking. Our waiter (I think his name was William?) was extremely friendly and gave great recommendations. Our food was seasoned well and hot or cold as needed. The portion sizes were great. All four of us did the $14.99 deal that included soup, salad, a full entree and dessert. Plus the delicious free biscuits which we were always replenished on. It was such a great deal and we all had to take some home. The restaurant was clean and very cool in this 100 degree weather. It also is a new restaurant so the decor wasn't old-school tacky but really nice! The manager on duty walked around to each table and asked us how our experience was. He even helped to clear our table by picking up dirty plates even though they seemed fully staffed. Overall, we had a nice time there and felt as though it was money well spend. We will be going back there.
